May 22-Jun 16
The paintings span nearly a decade during which the work, dominated by contrasting themes of forest and sea, slowly evolved into a semi abstract language of marks. These are paintings, originating in the studio, where the organic, graphic lines of trees, grasses, underbrush and water are built upon sources both from memory and onsite watercolors. The artist will be present during Saturdays after the reception. Opening Reception: Thu, May 24, 6-8pm.
